God, Stars, and Thoughts
She walks the lonely halls late at night
With stars reflecting off the window panes
Over and over again she tells herself
That no matter what, things will stay the same
So she locks herself inside
Her skin's a prison
And she's running out of time
But the only time she has is time to waste
Kill these thoughts
I've thought to kill myself for far too long
I promise I'll be fine, just not tonight
She's searching for a permanent place to call home
But everywhere she goes feels temporary
From the first sight, she always tells herself
That no matter what, things will stay the same
Kill these thoughts
I've thought to kill myself for far too long
There's no hope
Just the thought that hope could come remains
These thoughts
I promise I'll be fine, just not tonight
The only time she has is time to waste
She sits and stares at stars through the window pane
Praying "God, I know you're there, I need change
This is not a fucking game."
No
She's running out of time
Kill these thoughts
I've thought to kill myself for far too long
Kill these thoughts
I know we both know I am not that strong
I do my best to get along
So please, will you save me?
I'm running out of time
And kill these thoughts tonight
